CHIEF CROSSING

CHIEF CROSSING

BASED ON THE NATIVE AMERICAN CROSS SYMBOL, THIS CROSSBODY HIGHLIGHTS SPIDER WOMAN, THE CROSSING PATHS SYMBOL, AND NAVAJO INDIAN CHIEF BLANKETS. THE CROSSES REPRESENT SPIDER WOMAN, AND THE LINES REPRESET INDIAN CHIEF BLANKETS. THESE BLANKETS WERE CONSIDERED TO BE MAINLY WORN BY CHIEFS AND WEALTHY TRADERS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO EXPENSIVE. BY DAY, THEY WERE USED AS COATS, AND BY NIGHT THEY WERE USED BECAUSE THEY WERE LIGHTER THAN BUFFALO SKINS.
