NOMMO II (MARRONE)

The Nommo are ancestral spirits (sometimes referred to as deities) worshipped by the Dogon tribe of Mali. The Nommos are also referred to as "Masters of the Water".  Pulling inspiration from the Dogon tribe, this crossbody features ancient moonbeads - highly valuable Dogon beads that give the appearance of the moon shining on water. This handbag is part of the Heritage Collection, made all by hand. 

 

Featuring: luxurious European calf skin, African silver metal beads, African pendants, moon beads, African money belt (hardware), hand-braided crossbody strap. All handsewn, no machine.
