A Weaver of Modern Myths

Before her journey through the world’s fashion capitals, Laura’s vision was anchored in the red earth of Arella. This East Texas ranch, the namesake of her brand, was a landscape where the rugged spirit of the West lived in harmony with a sanctuary of international wonders gathered from her parents’ lives in Africa, Dubai, and Iran. To a mind naturally attuned to beauty, these were not merely objects; they were breathing spirits, carrying the pulse of ancient cities into the heart of the American West.

This intersection of vast Southern skies and exotic elegance forms the cornerstone of her creative identity. Her path was an intentional odyssey: from the historic cobblestones of Florence, where she first discovered the enduring allure of the leather industry, to the mist-covered peaks of Big Sky, Montana. In that high-altitude stillness, she felt the fated call to forge a union of the stories, textures, and nomadic spirits she carried within.

Her artistry was further elevated at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied under the guidance of master artisans. In this environment of rigorous discipline, she transitioned from the rhythmic hum of the sewing machine to the technical precision of fine jewelry craft. It was here that she adopted an uncompromising standard of excellence, perfecting the ability to transform supple hides and raw elements into modern talismans through meticulous execution and a devotion to the flawless finish.

Guided by the quiet strength of her Ojibwe ancestry and a deep reverence for the earth’s hidden stories, Laura returned to the wilderness to breathe new life into the name of her childhood home. Today, every creation is born of fire, fiber, and folklore that creates a marriage of buttery luxury and weighted spiritual symbolism. Because every bead is hand-placed with absolute precision to ensure perfected quality, these pieces transcend mere adornment to become sacred keepsakes. Each creation is an heirloom for the wild at heart, a physical resonance designed to be carried as a legacy through this world and the next.

The Provenance of Arella

The name Arella is a sacred intersection of lineage. A linguistic tapestry woven from the spirits of three sisters. Born of Ardy, Elise, & Laura, the name serves as a map of their shared origins on the family’s East TX cattle ranch.

As the youngest of the triad, Laura carries the "LA" in Arella, a final note in a familial harmony. This trinity is immortalized in the House of Arella emblem: three bulls that honor the sisters’ trength, joined by a fourth to represent the soul of the brand itself.
