During the summer of 2016, I was fortunate enough to travel through the Thoroughfare of the greater Yellowstone National Park for eight days on horseback. I was with seven other riders and a pack of mules. The furthest away from all civilization in the lower 50 states, I loved the peace and silence within this magical land. During my time here, I crossed many feathers that represented many different life stories. When I see feathers in the wild, I think back to this special place in the park and all of Mother Earth's creatures.
